Hello! Welcome to From an English Teacher’s Inspirational Journal
“From an English Teacher’s Inspirational Journal” is — in its current state — a collection of my thoughts, musings, reflections; as well as my responses to various writing and photography prompts that I come across, with my occasional curated articles on self-help topics thrown in.
This blog has undergone so many changes over the course of time. I started this blog as an encouragement for my EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students to hone their English writing skills as well as to rouse their interest in the language by providing them with a platform where they could share their hearts and minds through their written pieces. But due to the hectic demands of their academic studies and pastoral work, many could not continue writing for this blog — which we named English All You Can.
So rather than letting my students’ diligent effort go to waste, I have turned this blog into my personal space.
So in gratitude to them who made this blog possible in the first place, I have kept my students’ posts intact. I may still write something for English learners or something about teaching the ‘Queen’s language‘ — English as a second or a foreign language.
My hope is that you, my dear readers, will be able to find something of interest here for you – whether in prose, poetry, or photography. An amateur photography enthusiast who is learning and honing her camera skills, I find this an enjoyable aspect of my journey to self-growth. I do hope you can pick up a nugget or two of wisdom to inspire and help you on your own life journey.
